Law360, New York (September 7, 2016, 4:50 PM ET) — A Tennessee-based staffing company has agreed to settle a federal investigation over a job posting that allegedly discriminated against work-authorized immigrants and naturalized U.S. citizens, the U.S. Department of Justice said Wednesday.

The DOJ said it began investigating Cumberland Staffing Inc., which does business as AtWork Cumberland Staffing, after it was notified by a Tennessee resident that the temporary staffing agency had a job posting that included a U.S. birth certificate requirement.
