Law360, New York (October 4, 2016, 5:08 PM EDT) — A Bronx man who pretended to be an immigration attorney and allegedly bilked immigrants out of thousands in purported legal fees has been arrested, New York officials said Monday, marking at least his third run in with the law over immigration issues.

Edwin Rivera, who posed as an experienced attorney and took thousands in “undeserved fees” for immigration services, has been arrested, New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman said Monday.
