Law360, New York (October 6, 2016, 6:08 PM EDT) — Republican vice presidential nominee Mike Pence indicated Thursday that a ban on Muslim immigration is no longer among his running mate Donald Trump’s campaign positions, even though the candidate’s website still includes a statement calling for a “complete shutdown” of Muslims coming to the U.S.

Appearing Thursday morning on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” the Indiana governor denied that the Trump campaign is still supporting a ban on Muslim immigrants, arguing instead that the campaign is seeking to halt immigration from nations that are “compromised by terrorism.”…
