Law360, Washington (December 18, 2015, 6:58 PM ET) — Kawasaki Rail Car Inc. reached a final settlement this week in New York federal court with a 67-year-old software engineer and former employee who claimed the company engaged in age discrimination and treated him differently than co-workers of Japanese origin.

U.S. District Judge Vincent L. Briccetti dismissed with prejudice Thursday the suit brought by Peter Marcato, after months of settlement talks between the engineer and his former employer.
