Law360, New York (October 18, 2016, 6:40 PM EDT) — Dozens of companies caught in a failed class action over migrant workers’ pay appear to have taken issue with some part of a Maryland federal judge’s decision to toss the case, telling the Fourth Circuit on Monday they too might like to appeal.
The group of 65 companies filed a notice of cross-appeal six weeks after the Fourth Circuit was first presented with the case, when the workers filed a notice indicating they intended to challenge a June ruling that dismissed their suit.
