Law360, New York (October 17, 2016, 3:33 PM EDT) — The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said Monday that it has approved an updated strategic enforcement plan for fiscal 2017 to fiscal 2021, reinforcing its commitment to advance equal opportunity in the nation’s workplaces, which includes protecting immigrant and migrant workers.

The agency said the new SEP continues to prioritize the areas identified in the EEOC’s 2013-2016 plan, such as protecting vulnerable workers and underserved communities from discrimination, eliminating barriers in recruitment and hiring, addressing selected emerging and developing issues, ensuring equal pay protections for all…
