Law360, New York (October 11, 2016, 7:05 PM EDT) — A U.S. Department of Labor judge has approved a settlement requiring consulting firm Indus Group Inc. to pay $214,785 in back wages to three H-1B workers plus $9,120 in fines, following investigations by the agency’s wage and hour unit.

Administrative Law Judge Larry S. Merck approved consent findings between Indus Group and the administrator of the DOL’s Wage and Hour Division, under which Indus will pay $214,785 in back wages to three H-1B workers. The company has also agreed to fork over $9,120 in penalties, according…
