Law360, New York (December 1, 2015, 9:23 PM ET) — A Colorado assisted living company continued efforts to escape part of a U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission lawsuit claiming it illegally fired African-born care providers, saying Monday the agency can’t support the claim of discrimination based on national origin.

Columbine Management Services Inc., which initially asked a federal court to toss the claim in October, said the EEOC was given a chance to amend its complaint but continues to arbitrarily group together as “African” four individuals from different countries.
